After the fierce competition of 2006, this years duck race at Bibury was certainly no disappointment.  Harris Whisky was delighted to support this annual event once again and would encourage all future entrants to get their ducks in training as 2008 looks likely to be another very competitive race!

Two more great scores from Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.  Our new editions obtained the following scores:

[December 2006]           Harris Whisky Sponsors Charity Event

The Village of Bibury, in the heart of the Cotswolds, held the annual duck race on Boxing Day last year.  Harris whisky was proud to sponsor the event in conjunction with The Bibury Court Hotel .  Lucky runners-up received bottles of Harris Macduff and Harris Tamdhu.  Several of the competitors were thought to have had excessive amounts of Harris Whisky beforehand due to their rather lathargic participation in the race at the back of the field.
